This summer my clients are refreshing their rooms as they spend more time at home, as seen in the Before & After pictures. The 1960’s brick fireplace now has a lighter and brighter look by whitewashing the brick a soft white and painting the mantel. This technique is a great way to add contrast against the natural shiplap paneled walls.
